Crystallostructural role of ligands in diamine complexones with one topologic type of complexing agent atoms

Description

Crystallochemical analysis of diamine complexonates was carried out. It was established, that complexonate -ionsdemonstrated 14 different types of coordination by metal atoms in their structure. It was shown, that in depending on realizing coordination type, one polydentate ligand bound from one up to four metal atoms, forming with them 2-10 coordination bounds. Interrelation between structural role of ligands and topology of forming complexes was discussed
