Description
As radiation induced segregation (RIS) extremely changes properties of alloy materials under radiation, it is important on evaluation of radiation resistant features of nuclear materials on which a number of researches are carried out. However, to physically understand this complicated phenomenon, it is essential to carry out some experiments controlled on a number of factors dominating over it. In this paper, was described on contribution of freely migrating defects (FMDs) which was one of the important factors to RIS at a center of experimental results on RIS experiments using double ion beam radiation. And, here were also described on relationship between copper precipitation in an iron-copper alloy due to irradiation and FMDs and feasibility of material modification at nano scale using RIS. (G.K.)
