Phase equilibria in Tl4GeSe4-Tl4SnSe4 and Tl2GeSe3-Tl2SnSe3 systems

Description

Phase equilibria in systems Tl4GeSe4-Tl4SnSe4 and Tl2GeSe3-Tl2SnSe3 are studied. It is shown, that both systems are characterized by unrestricted solubility of components both in liquid and in solid states. Phase diagram of system Tl4GeSe4-Tl4SnSe4 is referred to the type without nonvariant equilibria, and in system Tl2GeSe3-Tl2SnSe3 the minimum point on liquidus and solidus curves is formed. Formation of a continuous series of solid solutions in the systems testifies to their isostructural character and similarity of chemical bonds in the ternary compounds
