Origin of the dimuon continuum and the space-time evolution of hadron collisions

  • 1. Komenskeho Univerzita, Bratislava (Czechoslovakia)

Description

Dileptons produced in hadron collisions are supposed to consist of two components: the Drell-Yan process responsible for large mass dileptons and annihilations of Qanti Q pairs created during the collision. Space-time evolution of the collision makes the latter component to yield only low mass dileptons. (Auth.)
