Conversion decay of isomers in ion-ion collisions

Description
The expression for complete cross section of the conversion electrons emission by collision of ions with the 20-100 MeV/nucleon energy is obtained in assumption, that the nucleus of one of the ions was before the collision in the isomer state. The cross sections numerical calculations of the process under consideration were performed for a number of reactions. The formulae for the electrons average life time relative to the internal conversion by the ions beam transmission through the substance is obtained

Получено выражение для полного сечения испускания конверсионных электронов при столкновениях ионов с энергией 20-100 МэВ/нуклон в предположении, что ядро одного из ионов до столкновения находилось в изомерном состоянии. Для ряда реакций проведены численные расчеты сечений рассматриваемого процесса. Получена также формула для среднего времени жизни электронов по отношению к внутренней конверсии при прохождении пучка ионов через веществоAdditional details
