High temperature superconductivity in oxides as a periodic redox reactions
- 1. Leningradskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Leningrad (Russian Federation)
Description
Model, explaining the occurrence of superconductivity in oxide systems, is suggested. High-temperature superconductivity is considered as the outcome of physicochemical reactions, proceeding in compounds. The region of expected critical temperatures may be predicted if the accurate thermodynamical data ae available. High-temperature superconductivity of YBa2Cu3O6.5+δ, as vibrational redox reaction, is connected with peculiarities of electron structure of different-valent atoms of one and the some element
