A probabilistic study of fuel rod behavior at a hypothetical LOCA in a PWR

Description

The report gives a short phenomenological description of the accident sequence and its significance for the fuel rod behaviour. This is followed by a presentation of the probabislistic procedure and the results obtained. The basic for the calculations were the codes RELAP4 and SSYST. (GL)

Abstract (German)

Der Bericht gibt eine kurze phaenomenologische Beschreibung des Stoerfallablaufes und seine Bedeutung fuer das Brennstabverhalten. Anschliessend werden die probabilistische Vorgehensweise und die erzielten Ergebnisse dargestellt. Grundlage der Rechnungen waren die Programme RECAP4 und SSYST. (GL)
