Polarized neutron diffraction from single crystal tungsten-186 located in a magnetic field
Description
Results are presented of a study which was made of the diffraction of monochromatized polarized neutrons of wavelength lambda = 1.05 A from a tungsten-186 single crystal having a negative scattering amplitude by placing it in a magnetic field with its direction along the (001) axis. A detailed description of the arrangement used in the measurements is summarized in Mikhaletc et al., Rez report INP N 1562/66. (U.K.)
