Study of α reversible γ transformations in VKS-210 and VNS-2USh by thermomagnetic structure analysis methods

Description
The particularities of α reversible γ transformations were studied on specimens of the VKS-210 maraging steel and the VNS-2USh stainless maraging steel using the thermomagnetic structure analysis including the study of the temperature dependence of the magnetic sUsceptibility, the determination of Curie points of iron-nickel austenite, determination of martensitic points. It was shown that the various stages of the α reversible γ transformation are greatly affected by diffusion processes which enrich austenite with austenite-forming elements, nickel in the first place. The stability of austenite is enhanced by phase work-hardening
