Nuclear orientation and Moessbauer effect at ultralow temperatures

  • 1. Moskovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (USSR). Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Inst. Yadernoj Fiziki

Description

A method of oriented nuclei (ON) in combination with nuclear magnetic resonance and the Moessbauer effect is considered. The method is applicable for studying complex magnetic structures, measuring times of nuclear relaxation. The ON method is based on the dependence of the angular distribution of nuclear radiation on the spatial orientation of nuclear spins. The nuclear orientation is performed at the expense of HFI at ultralow temperatures. Results of the HFI investigation in diluted magnetic alloys of Pb with Fe and Co are stated
