Study of LPSNS (long pulse) and SPSNS (short pulse) and their applications
Creators
- 1. Japan Atomic Energy Research Inst., Tokai, Ibaraki (Japan). Tokai Research Establishment
Description
The possibility of the short pulse spallation neutron source (SPSNS) and the long pulse spallation neutron source (LPSNS) for cold and thermal neutron scattering experiment were discussed. The comparison between the SPSNS and the LPSNS was carried out after discussing how to make a TOF experiment under the SPSNS or the LPSNS and the SPSNS of a several MW class was proposed. (author)
