Accuracy of the neutron field control in nuclear reactors
Creators
Description
Presented are estimations of neutron field control errors occuring because of regulator dead zones and errors of detectors and multiplication factor disturbances. The condition for location of the detectors and the rods has been obtained. Examples for calculating the accuracy of the integral reactor power control system and of the system for zone field control are given. It has been found out that in comparison with the integral system the zone control provides smaller errors caused by regulator errors and disturbances effect. The control error conditioned by the detector errors is larger for the zone system; the fact is explained by less accurate reactor detectors. Besides, the zone control system is characterized by a pronounced local distortion of the field near rods
