Constraints on the NN interaction from deuteron electromagnetic processes

Description
It is shown that Deuteron photonuclear data provide considerable evidence that the traditional view of the NN system as two point-like particles interacting via the exchange of mesons may not be valid at separation distances less than 1.5 fm. (orig.)
