Description
In recent years, growing concern for the environment has led to the need for analysts to accurately and precisely determine a range of elements at ever lower concentrations in a variety of samples. At the forefront of this analytical challenge has been the analysis of fresh and potable waters. Such samples contain elements at concentrations ranging from high ppm (e.g. Na, K and Ca) to very low ppb (e.g. As, Cd and Pb), all of which must be accurately quantified to ensure that the water quality is acceptable
