Percutaneous nephrostomy -analysis of 214 trials-

Description
Authors experienced 214 percutaneous nephrostomies at 182 patients from July 1982 to April 1987 at the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Seoul National University Hospital. There were satisfactory results in view of success rate, change of BUN/Creatinine values after the procedure and the complications associated with the procedure. So the future tasks seem to be the prevention of complications, alleviation of discomfort from carrying the nephrostomy tube and adequate follow-up after the procedure
