Peculiarities of substructure formation of niobium monocrystals during growing

Description

Using the methods of X-ray diffraction topography substructure of niobium monocrystals has been studied. A similarity of niobium and tungsten monocrystal structures is shown. It is established that blocks stretched along monocrystal axis are formed directly in crystallization process with zone movement by means of their continuous nucleation and enlargement during merging
