Temporary NOK information pavilion

The information exhibition of Nordostschweizerische Kraftwerke, NOK in the Boettstein Castle in the lower Aar valley has been moved, practically unchanged, until the beginning of '89 to the former riding hall, allowing the Pavilion, where the exhibition has been held since '72 to be renovated. The temporary exhibition covers all aspects of the generation and distribution of electricity with models showing the principles of run of the river, storage, pumped storage and nuclear power stations. The concepts of nuclear waste disposal, and shielding and measuring radioactivity are explained. (P.G.R.)
