Upstream-Downstream of Nuclear Technology in the Field of Health

The application of radioisotopes and radiopharmaceuticals, specifically in the field of health, has really proven that the nuclear technology is able to be a chosen technology in the daily living, even though in the non-energy sectorial. Some important aspects related to radioisotope and radiopharmaceutical processing technologies are presented in this paper, including the basic principle of production technology and the implemented application in domestic sphere as well as current technical status in Indonesia. The presented paper is expected to be an extending source of understanding and insight related to the existence and the development of nuclear technology in non-energy sectoral, specifically in the field of health.
