Description

The postulated existence of hadrons with no quark content, implied by the non-Abelian nature of quantum chromodynamics, has been the object of much experimental activity. Recent data from radiative psi decay permit a confrontation of available evidence with the most simple-minded criteria for their appearance. In the absence of compellingly positive evidence we give a rating of the relative merits of several possible candidates. 36 references, 17 figures
