Phase equilibria and the crystal structure of phases in the MeCo1-xMnxO3-δ (Me = Sr, Ba) system

Description

Phase equilibria in the system SrCo1-xMnxO3-δ in the entire range of compositions in the air at 1100 Deg C were studied by the method of X-ray phase analysis. It has been ascertained that in the range 0.45 ≤ x ≤ 0.55 a phase of alternating composition is formed being indexed on the basis of multilayer hexagonal cell with the following parameters: a = b 5.528 (1), c = 11.36 (2) A and a = b = 5.532 (2), c = 11.32 (2) A for x 0.45 and x = 0.55 respectively. Compounds Sr2Co2O5 with parameters: a 5.4536 (2), b = 15.739 (4), c = 5.5458 (1) A and SrMnO3 with parameters: a 5.4483 (3), c = 0746 (5) A are described as rhombic and 4H-structure respectively

Abstract (Russian)

Методом рентгенофазового анализа изучены фазовые равновесия в системе SrCo1-xMnxO3-δ во всем интервале составов на воздухе при 1100 град С. Установлено, что в интервале 0.45 ≤ x ≤ 0.55 образуется фаза переменного состава, индицированная на основе многослойной гексагональной ячейки с параметрами a = b = 5.528 (1), c = 11.36 (2) и a = b = 5.532 (2), c = 11.32 (2) A для х = 0.45 и х = 0.55 соответственно. Соединения Sr2Co2O5 с параметрами а = 5.4536 (2), b = 15.739 (4), c = 5.5458 (1) A и SrMnO3 с параметрами a = 5.4483 (3), c = 0746 (5) A описаны как ромбическая и 4Н-структуры соответственно
