Five cases of hemangioma of the liver diagnosed unexpectedly with diagnostic imaging for screening

Description
This report presents five cases of hemangioma which was diagnosed by the appearance of low density area on abdominal CT for screening. Sudden filling and pooling pertinent to hemangioma was obtained by arteriography in 2 cases. Biopsy under ultrasound and laparoscopy were useful for the diagnosis in one and 2 cases, respectively.
