Description

X-ray structural investigation is carried out (Mo-radiation, autodifractometer: the method of a heavy atom, specification using the least square fit in the anisotropic-H-isotropic approximation) of triclinic crystals of the Cd (HOC6H4COO)2x4C5H5N composition. The parameters are a=9.902 (8), b=10.051 (9), c=17.56 (3)A, α=98.58 (9)deg, β=100.08 (10) deg, γ=103.38 (8)deg, v=1641.2A3, space group PI, z=2. Cadmium atom is coordinated by two atoms of the carboxyl group of the acid ligand according to the chelate type, by one oxygen atom of the bridge type of the same group of the second acid molecule and by nitrogen atoms of three pyridine molecules. The fourth pyridine molecule does not coordinate the central atom and forms the structural unit of the above state due to the hydrogen bond. The connection between these complexes is carried out with the aid of the hydrogen bond between the oxygen atom of COO--group of the acid ligand and oxygen atom of the OH-group of the same ligand
