Cleaning of surfaces by plasma in the Uragan-3 torsatron

Description
Consideration is being given to results of investigations into the effect of duration of cleaning metallic surfaces of magnetic system and HF aerials of the Uragan-3 torsatron by low-temperature hydrogen plasma and of the value of initial pressure of plasma-forming gas in vacuum chamber on the efficiency of HF plasma heating in the Uragan-3 torsatron. It is shown that cleaning of metallic surfaces by plasma and the choice of optimal pressure of plasma forming gas in vacuum chamber enable to elevate sufficiently plasma parameters (accumulate plasma density ne≥1013 cm-3, increase plasma purity, reduce the role of elementary processes in plasma and conduct its heating)
