Description

We estimate Higgs-boson production at large transverse momenta in electron-positron storage rings via bremsstrahlung off a heavy fermion. Defining by R/sup 2gamma//sub H/(R/sup 1gamma//sub H/) the ratio of the cross section for Higgs-boson production with p/sub T/> or =2 GeV in two-photon collisions (e+e- annihilation) to the inclusive production cross section of a single muon via one photon, we find that R/sup 2gamma//sub H/ rises with energy, while R/sup 1gamma//sub H/ is relatively constant. At present energies (30 GeV beam energy) R/sup 2gamma//sub H/ is smaller than R/sup 1gamma//sub H/ but at LEP energies (70 GeV beam energy) both have similar magnitudes
