Dielectric picture of confinement
Description
The dielectric function of the condensate vacuum of the phenomenological electrodynamics of a charged symmetric-tensor field is calculated. It vanishes at the vanishing momenta. Consequently, the vacuum behaves like a perfect diaelectric (dual superconductor) confining the opposite electric charges. (orig.)
