The pinning forces and the scalling law in superconducting niobium films
- 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Kiev. Inst. Metallofiziki
Description
Effect of the process of artificial ageing of niobium films with different thickness on the type of the dependence of pinning volume force on magnetic field is studied. It is shown that two process run during oxidation of niobium films in the air. Both processes effect the values of critical current, of critical magnetic field and the shape of curves of the pinning volume force dependence on field, i.e. 1) firstly, the length of oxidated grain boundaries increases, this appears to be a dominant type of defects, fixing vortex filaments, 2) secondly, the quasigranulation process is observed in fine films. A problem of the accomplishment of the scalling law for films in the parallel magnetic field is studied
