Non linear identification applied to PWR steam generators

Description

For the precise industrial purpose of PWR nuclear power plant steam generator water level control, a natural method is developed where classical techniques seem not to be efficient enough. From this essentially non-linear practical problem, an input-output identification of dynamic systems is proposed. Through Homodynamic Systems, characterized by a regularity property which can be found in most industrial processes with balance set, state form realizations are built, which resolve the exact joining of local dynamic behaviors, in both discrete and continuous time cases, avoiding any load parameter. Specifically non-linear modelling analytical means, which have no influence on local joined behaviors, are also pointed out. Non-linear autoregressive realizations allow us to perform indirect adaptive control under constraint of an admissible given dynamic family

Abstract (French)

Dans le contexte industriel precis de la regulation de niveau du generateur de vapeur des centrales nucleaires a eau pressurisee, une methode naturelle est developpee la ou les techniques classiques semblent n'etre pas assez efficaces. A partir de ce probleme pratique essentiellement non lineaire, une identification entree-sortie des systemes dynamiques est proposee. A travers les Systemes Homodynamiques, caracterises par une propriete de regularite que l'on trouve dans la plupart des processus industriels admettant un ensemble d'equilibre, des realisations sont construites qui resolvent le raccordement exact des comportements dynamiques locaux, a temps discret comme a temps continu en evitant tout parametre de charge. Des moyens analytiques de modelisation specifiquement non-lineaire sont aussi exhibes qui n'ont aucune influence sur les comportements locaux raccordes. Des realisations auto-regressives non-lineaires nous permettent aussi de pratiquer de l'auto-adaptation indirecte sous contrainte d'une famille dynamique donnee admissible
