Asymptotic quantization of the electromagnetic field and the resulting inequality for the fine structure constant
Description
Arguments are presented which allow me to derive the inequality 0 < e2/ℎc < π in a purely phenomenological way i.e. without assumptions about the dynamics of sources of the electromagnetic field. (author)
