Determination of rubidium and cesium by neutron activation followed by gamma spectrometry

Description
A rapid method for the determination of rubidium and cesium has been developed comprising neutron irradiation, separation by an inorganic ion-exchanger, and γ spectrometric measurement. Another method with preliminary concentration preceding irradiation is also described. These methods have been conveniently applied to the determination of rubidium and cesium in a variety of samples of geochemical interests. (author)
