Field-induced phase transition in a type III FCC antiferromagnet: K2IrCl6
Creators
Description
The field-dependent antiferromagnetic structures in K2IrCl6 are investigated using magnetisation and neutron diffraction experiments. A field-induced transition from a collinear low-field phase to a non-collinear structure is observed. The phase diagram is constructed using magnetisation data. It is anisotropic with respect to the applied field direction. The high-field ordering vector was determined in neutron diffraction experiments
