Radiological shielding
Description
The invention concerns shielding for a pipe, which passes through a wall between a room endangered by radiation and the environment. The pipe is embedded in a pipe sleeve and is held at a slight distance from the pipe sleeve by spacers which are provided, at least for a time. It should be able to move both radially and axially. The pipe sleeve is held in the wall opening by lead wool props. Lead sleeves can be provided on the opening side of the pipe sleeve. (orig./HP)

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Abschirmung fuer eine Rohrleitung, die eine Wand zwischen einem strahlungsgefaehrdeten Raum und der Umgebung durchsetzt. Die Rohrleitung wird dabei in eine Rohrhuelse eingebettet und durch mindestens zeitweise vorgesehene Distanzelemente in einem geringen Abstand zur Rohrhuelse gehalten. Sie soll sowohl radiale als auch axiale Lageveraenderungen durchfuehren koennen. Die Rohrhuelse ist durch einen Bleiwollepfropfen in der Wanddurchfuehrung gehalten. Muendungsseitig der Rohrhuelse koennen Bleimanschetten vorgesehen sein. (orig./HP)Files
