From the beginning of 1985, the Tore Supra experiment has started running successively every subsystem to get its first plasma in 1988. Since, the additional heating systems first LHH and ICRH, then Neutral Beam Injection, have been connected to the machine: first shots with high frequency heating succeeded by the end of 1988. All the automatisms of the Tore Supra experiment have been defined and set up by the users themselves with the means of the Tore Supra Control Computer System.
