Radiation effects in superconductors
Description
Problems related to radiation effects in superconductors are reviewed. Analysis is performed of the experimental data on radiation-induced variation of critical temperature of superconducting transition in metallic compounds under irradiation with energetic particles over a wide temperature range. Mechanisms of radiation-induced degradation of the transition temperature are discussed in detail for both monatomic superconductors and intermetallic compounds
