On-line data processing for HTR repetitive-pulse operation
- 1. Hitachi Ltd., Kawasaki, Kanagawa (Japan). Atomic Energy Research Lab.
Description
The single-pulse operation test on the Hitachi Training Reactor (HTR) has been xpanded into the repetitive-pulse operation test. On-line data processing with the ITAC-10 digital mini-computer is developed to ensure safety of repetitive-pulse operation. he peak power, the reactor period. the released energy and the maximum temperature ise of fuel pellet and fuel cladding are computed by this system in short intervals of 30-60sec from one power burst to the next. As the sheathed thermocouple is used for the measurement of fuel center temperature, its indication is corrected by the transfer function in the form of second order time lag. (author)
