River sediment contamination with plutonium isotopes and heavy metals in Lublin Agglomeration (Poland)
Description
Plutonium isotopes activity and selected heavy metal concentration in sediment samples from three Lublin rivers are presented. A close correlations between plutonium and calcium concentrations was observed, but between plutonium and organic matter this was rather poor. River sediment contamination with heavy metals: Mn, Zn, Pb, Cu and Ba does not exceed the permissible concentration limit in sewage sludge introduced to soil
