Charge-carrier dipole traps in molecular crystals

Description
A new type of charge-carrier traps in doped nonpolar molecular crystals, dipole traps, has been found and extensively studied both experimentally and theoretically. Dependence of the energy spectrum of dipole traps upon an increase of the polar impurity concentration is studied as well. A microscopic model of dipole traps of various structures is suggested that allows one to obtain information about molecule arrangements in dipole aggregates
