Description
New mechanisms of antiproton annihilation in nuclei, where several nucleons participate in the process are evaluated and found very important. With these new mechanisms we study the tail of the proton momentum distribution following anti p annihilation and find a sizeable increase in the cross section, which brings the theoretical results in agreement with the experimental data.
