Description
New lamellar phosphonates [UO2(O3PC6H5).0.7H2O (UPP11), [UO2(O3PC6H5) (UPP51), UO2(O3PC4H9) (UBP) and UO2(O3PC6H4NH2).0.3H2O] have been synthesized and characterized. Thermal stability and spectroscopical properties have been studied. Good thermal stability was found. Supported membranes have been made with two of these materials (UPP11 and UPP51). Current-voltage curves of these inorganic supported membranes have been measured and the results were compared with those corresponding to a high protonic conductor (HUP). The asymmetry found is explained for the different kinds of ions involved in the transport of electric current. (author). 15 refs.; 6 figs.; 3 tabs
