Device for determination of flight direction of charged particles

Description

The invention refers to experimental methods of nuclear physics and can be used in space physics experiments. The invention is aimed at reducing the device dimensions and its power consumption. The device contains two scintillation bands with a photoelectron multiplier for each one. Introduction of a voltage comparator to the device and production of scintillation bands being similar by linear dimension in the direction of particle movement allow one to reduce the distance between the bands and make power consumption lower at the expense of electronic circuit number reduction. 1 ref.; 1 fig
