Conjectures
Description
During seventy years or so of relativity theory, many specific problems have been posed and even solved. However, a few problems of major importance remain as problems, possibly because they have not been posed correctly. They are the following: (1) Does it make sense (and what sense does it make) to look for a unified field theory. (2) Does it make sence to look for a quantized theory of gravitation. (3) Is there such a thing as real space-time in which physical events are located. (4) Is the 'superdeterminism' implied by RT compatible with other forms of determinism. These problems are discussed. (U.K.)
