A method of scatter factors calculation for X and gamma radiation used in teleradiotherapy
Description
A method of calculation of scatter factors for the radiation energy range used in teletherapy is presented. Computer codes for these calculation were prepared and scatter factors for Co-60 gamma rays and 9, 12 and 18 MeV X-rays were calculated. The minimal set of dosimetric data necessary for calculating scatter factors for the full range of field sizes and depths was determined. (author)
