Description
In the first half of the eighties the development of the γ and electron spectroscopic techniques has been continued and a number of techniques reached a high stage of development (semiconductor and scintillation detectors, Compton suppression spectrometers, γ-ray polarimeters, techniques of light ion - evaporation reaction studies, lifetime measurements etc.). The results obtained in the field of heavy ion reaction studies were especially impressive, but the appearance and fast spread of mini-orange, superconducting solenoid transport and other type electron spectrometers are also remarkable
