Controlled atmosphere effect on properties of welded joints of tantalum-10% tungsten alloy
Description
Conditions for conducting experiments on welding the alloy of tantalum with 10% of tungsten with different concentration of oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen in the protective atmosphere are described. Results of studyng the weld metal and heat affected zone microstructure in four batches of specimens welded with various concentration of impurities in argon are presented
