World oil reserves 1948-2000. No significant changes in the period 1990-2000

Description
This paper presents data collected by the Oil and Gas Journal relating to world oil reserves. Table 1 gives details of world oil reserves annually as of 1 January 1948-2000 covering the USA, Canada, Latin America, the total western hemisphere, the Middle East, Africa, Western Europe, and the total world reserves. Table 2 lists OPEC oil reserves annually as of 1 January 1960-1999 covering Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, Venezuela, Qatar, Libya, Indonesia, UAE, Algeria, Nigeria, Ecuador, Gabon and the total reserves. The final table illustrates the changes in world oil reserves in 1998 from 1997, in 1999 from 1998, and in 2000 from 1999
