In-beam conversion electron spectroscopy
Description
The methods of in-beam conversion electron spectroscopy are reviewed. The internal conversion coefficient is defined and its theoretical values are shown as functions of excitation energy and of multipolarity. The principles of different measuring methods are summarized, the methods are described and some examples are given. Different types of in-beam magnetic spectrometers are described including the newest mini-orange type. The main results, advantages and development trends of the field are surveyed. (D.Gy.)
