Radiation chemical processes in the ethanol-monochlorobenzene dosimeter solution

  • 1. Magyar Tudomanyos Akademia, Budapest (Hungary). Izotopintezete

Description

In order to study the effect of the individual components on the basic radiation chemical processes taking place in the dosimeter solution, time resolved electron pulse and additional gamma radiolysis experiments have been carried out. The yield of the hydrochloric acid, which is used to measure the absorbed dose, is independent of dose in a wide dose-range and the radiation chemical background of this behaviour has also been studied.
