The designation of the DAQ system for the 1 million pixels silicon pixel detector

Description
This paper introduces the design of the data acquisition system for the 1 million pixels silicon pixel detector. The DAQ system is designed specially according to the high bandwidth (1.92 GB/s) feature of the pixel detector. It meets the requirement of high speed data readout, as well as consists the functions of run control, online event building, lossless data compression, data storage and real-time image display. After the test of the stability and main performance of the system, it is resulted that the readout bandwidth of the system is 2.49 GB/s and the stability is great. (authors)
