  • 1. A.E. Favorsky Irkutsk Institute of Chemistry, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Irkutsk (Russian Federation)

Description

Data on the methods of preparation of bipyrroles and furyl-, thienyl- and selenienylpyrroles are summarised and described systematically. The reactivity and the prospects of application of these compounds are discussed. Particular attention is paid to a new convenient one-step method for the synthesis of hetaryl-substituted pyrroles starting from alkyl hetaryl ketoximes and acetylene. The bibliography includes 191 references.
