Experimental consequences of flavor- and muon number-changing neutral currents in an SU(2) x U(1) gauge model with CP nonconservation
Description
The author enumerates a large number of experimental consequences, calculated in a model within the usual framework, of the assumption that weak neutral currents exist which do not conserve flavor, and, with a lepton-quark analogy, do not conserve muon number, at the level of strength of the CP-violating parameter. The estimates are relevant to a number of experiments in progress or planned, in particular those searching for the nonconservation of muon number at the level of about 10-9. (Auth.)
