Crystal structure of K2[UO2(C2O4)(SO4)]·3H2O

Description
Single crystals of K2[UO2(C2O4)(SO4)]·3H2O were studied by X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in triclinic system; its unit cell parameters are: a=5.743(1), b=9.544(2), c=11.845(2) A, α=89.49(3) Deg, β84.95(3) Deg, γ=83.01(3) Deg, space group P1-bar, Z=2, R=0.024. The structure contains infinite zigzag-like chains [UO2(C2O4)(SO4)]2- stretched along the [110] direction and corresponding to crystal-chemical group AK02M1 (A=UO22+) of uranyl complexes. The chains are linked to each other through electrostatic interactions with potassium ions and through hydrogen bonds involving outer-sphere water molecules
Abstract (Russian)
Проведено рентгеноструктурное исследование монокристаллов K2[UO2(C2O4)(SO4)]·3H2O. Соединение кристаллизуется в триклинной сингонии, параметры элементарной ячейки: a=5.743(1), b=9.544(2), c=11.845(2) A, α=89.49(3) град, β84.95(3) град, γ=83.01(3) град, пр. гр. P1-bar, Z=2, R=0.024. Структура содержит бесконечные зигзигообразные цепи состава [UO2(C2O4)(SO4)]2-, вытянутые вдоль направления [110] и относящиеся к кристаллохимической группе AK02M1 (A=UO22+) комплексов уранила. Цепи связаны между собой за счет электростатического взаимодействия с ионами калия, а также водородных связей с участием внешнесферных молекул водыAdditional details
